Rose Lugossy Taylor HAMILTON TOWNSHIP Rose V. (Lugossy) Taylor, 76, of Hamilton Township, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, with her husband at her side, after a long, courageous battle with lung disease. Rose was born in Trenton and was a lifelong area resident. She received her master's degree from Trenton State College. Rose retired from the Hamilton Township Board of Education, where she worked in local schools as a learning disabilities teacher consultant. In her younger years, Rose enjoyed baseball, basketball, soccer, bowling and hunting. She was a member of the National Rifle Association and Ducks Unlimited. Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Vilma (Antal) Lugossy, she is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Richard L. Taylor; daughters, Barbara Renee Taylor and Lisa Ann Taylor; brothers, Gilbert W. (Lee) Lugossy and Frank J. (Eileen) Lugossy; a special sister-in-law, Mary Lou Taylor; brother-in-law, Lewis (Patricia) Taylor; sister-in-law, Norma K. Taylor; five grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, dear friends, and her beloved Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Gypsy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rose's memory to Deborah Hospital Foundation, 212 Trenton Rd., Browns Mills, NJ 08015, or Compassionate Care Hospice, 1130 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ 08753.
