Marletta E Welch

Marletta "Marla" Welch (Blackiston) passed away on March 2, 2025, in Hamilton, New Jersey. Born on March 28, 1953, Marla lived a life filled with cherished moments and meaningful connections. She found joy in collecting antiques and spending time at Columbus. The beach was another beloved retreat, offering her peace and relaxation. Marla is survived by her sons Carl (Tom) Vest and his girlfriend Cindy Jones, Steven Vest and his wife Joyce, Brian Vest and his fiancé Jennifer Koch, and Jason Welch, her sister Patricia Freeman and her husband Marcus , many nieces and nephews. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Stephanie Wilmot, Logan Vest, Ryan Vest, Dylan Welch and Kyleigh Vest. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her. She was a great mom and a strong woman, and she will  be dearly missed. It Broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide and although we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again!! Rest in Peace Mom!!!
