Karl H. Gliem HAMILTON TOWNSHIP Karl H. Gliem, 61, passed away Feb. 10, 2018, at home.
Born in Trenton, Karl lived in Hamilton Twp. and Trenton all his life.
An avid Phillies and Eagles fan, he was overjoyed when the Eagles won the Super Bowl. Karl was a maintenance mechanic at Princeton University. In earlier years, he coached youth baseball and football for his son. More recently, he enjoyed spending time with his dog, Autumn.
Son of the late Robert J. Sr. and Joan Gliem, Karl was predeceased by his sister, Joan, and brother, Drew (Angelina).
Karl is survived by his wife, Sharon; son, Shawn Gliem and wife, Laura; his stepdaughters, Laura Conners (Mike) and Jennifer Conners (James) and granddaughter, Kayla
Small (Joseph). He is also survived by his brothers, Scott, Robert and his wife, Sue, and Martin and his wife, Reenie Gliem. Karl is also survived by his mother-in-law, Nancy Rowe;
brother and sisters-in law, Larry Rowe (Kathy), Kathy Sullivan, Trish Rowe and Cynthia Fowler (Dave); a stepmother-in-law, Bernice, her son, Steve Hullings (Theresa) and many nieces
Karl touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure to know him. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.
Just like Karl, there will be a casual and informal gathering for family and friends on Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the American Legion Post No. 313, 560 Schiller Ave., Hamilton Township, NJ
