Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Laird, 65, of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, surrounded by her children. Born in Trenton, NJ, raised in Morrisville, PA, graduated from Morrisville High School, she was a life-long resident of Trenton & Hamilton Square, NJ for over 45 years until moving to Levittown, PA in 2013.
She is predeceased by her loving companion, Leonard Formolo, of 27 years, her sister Patricia Ann Laird and brother Robert T. Laird, Jr., Elizabeth is survived by her children, Tracy Laird of Levittown, PA, Robert T. Laird of Levittown, PA, and Sandy Heller and his wife, Adrian Heller of Chesterfield, NJ. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Terry Ann Duncan of Princeton Jct, NJ and Carolann Laird of Petaluma, CA, aunts, uncles, nieces & many cousins.
Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her children's family dogs, Lolo, Mamba and Mia.
The funeral services for Elizabeth will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 Main St, Allentown, NJ 08501. Private family viewing is at 9:15am. Public visitation will be 10am-12noon. Service will be at 12noon with entombment to follow at Princeton Memorial Park in Robbinsville, NJ.
Elizabeth was an inspiration to all that known her, demonstrated bravery while battling Leukemia. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Elizabeth Laird's memory to support Dr. David Porter's research at Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center. Checks should be made payable to 'Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania' and indicate Elizabeth Laird on the check memo line or on note with a gift.
